一隻狼、一隻羊、一隻披著羊皮的狼、一隻披著狼皮的羊聚在一起，牠們又會說什麼呢？如何相處在一起呢？又如何自處呢？
A wolf, a goat, a wolf disguised as a goat and a goat disguised as a wolf meet together. What will they say to one another? How are they going to get along with one another? How is each of them going to get along with itself?
自己寫完自己都笑了。

I would like to recommend everyone a 2008 movie I watched last night, “Henry Poole Is Here.” I paid more attention to the little girl who never talks after a mental trauma and suddenly talks and acts normally after touching the stained wall than the leading character. The stained wall shows a face which looks like that of God.
我想推薦大家一部我昨天晚上看的2008的電影：上帝在我家。我比較沒那麼注意主角，反而比較注意那個受到心靈創傷之後就不再說話的小女孩，她在觸碰了那道沾了一些顏料的牆之後就突然會說話，行為也正常了。沾了一些顏料的牆顯現出一個很像上帝的臉。

鄭琇仁是林育菁的小學同學。林育菁是林育華的姊姊。鄭琇仁是林育華的大學學姊。呵呵！

雖然自己只是個小人物，但是能夠認識各行各業的大人物很開心耶！尤其是看到自己認識的人在其專業領域中大放光采，我的心裡也會有一股莫名的高興。很奇妙吧！

Yesterday I made 「悲智雙運…妙音天唱」into a complete English sentence. (In the last version, I made them four stanzas which were not fluent. It makes more sense now.)

剛讀到余光中「憑一張地圖」的一小段，讓我想到台灣。台灣這個島嶼到底是誰的？是哪個國家的？台灣不也是個孤兒嗎？
I just read a short passage from “Depending on a Map.” It made me think of Taiwan. Who does this island, Taiwan, belong to? What country does this island, Taiwan, belong to? Isn’t Taiwan also an orphan?

I just got the Last Emperor movie soundtrack I successfully bid on the Internet. I am so excited! After 22 years, it is in my hand! The CD means a lot to me. It is a 1987 CD made in the UK. Thank you, Dong-Yang, for selling me one of your collections.

The Last Emperor 末代皇帝

Last night I was watching the Last Emperor, a 1987 movie, on a movie channel. I remember my grandpa, who is still alive, took my older brother, older sister and me to a movie theater to watch the film. I was only about 8 years old. Although I fell asleep in the middle of the movie, I was still impressed by the background music/movie soundtrack. I knew Grandpa was the only one who knew what was going on in the movie. The movie was not much to us, the kids, at that time.
昨晚我在電影頻道看了一部一九八七年的電影：末代皇帝。我記得我爺爺（現在還活著）帶我哥哥、姊姊和我到電影院看過這部片。當時我大概才八歲。雖然我在電影放映中睡著了，我還是對配樂很有印象。我知道爺爺是唯一看懂電影在演什麼的人。這部電影當時對我們小孩子來講沒什麼感覺。

It was nothing to me until last night. I watched it attentively and finally had a lot of sympathy for Emperor Pu Yi. It was like he was in prison almost all his life, whether in the Forbidden City, Manchuria or the real prison. He was kept in captivity here and there. What impressed me a lot was that he lost his butterfly/first love (Ar Mo, “Let me say goodbye to him! [Ar Mo did not even have a chance to say goodbye to Pu Yi.]” Pu Yi, “She is not my nanny. She is my butterfly.”) and his love-and-hate relationship with his first wife/Empress Wan Jung. It was pure love and attachment between Pu Yi and the nanny/Ar Mo. It was strong love, hatred, suffering between Pu Yi and Wang Jung. It seemed as if I could feel their pain, three of them, especially that of the empress.
昨晚以前這部電影對我來講也沒有什麼。我專心看完這部片，終於對溥儀皇帝起了很大的同情心。他的整個人生絕大部分的時間好像在監獄裡一樣，不管在紫禁城、滿洲國，或是真正的監獄。他到哪兒就被囚禁到哪兒。讓我印象很深刻的是他失去了他的蝴蝶（初戀情人）【阿嬤：「讓我跟他說再見！」阿嬤連跟溥儀說再見的機會都沒有。】【溥儀：「她不是我的奶媽。她是我的蝴蝶。」】還有他跟原配（婉容皇后）的愛恨情仇。在溥儀和阿嬤之間的是純純的愛和依附。在溥儀和婉容之間的是強烈的愛、恨，以及痛苦。我似乎能夠感受到他們三人的痛，尤其是皇后的痛。

All his life was pain.
他的一生是個痛苦。

火舞 Fire Dance

想要玩（學）火舞，剛剛搜尋了一下，找到一個不錯的網站：火舞教室。看了幾段表演的短片，美極了！美呆了！他們也有販售火舞的道具，我會買個一兩個道具，閒暇時間練習練習。看他們表演固然是一種享受，能夠自己把玩火炬，一定更刺激。

I wanna play (learn) fire dance. I was googling a while and found a nice website, School of Poi. I watched a couple of clips of fire dace performances. They are blazing! They are terrific! They/School of Poi also carry fire toys. I’ll buy a fire toy or two to practice in my free time. It’s enjoyable to watch them performing, but it must be more exciting if I can play the fire myself.

入夜山嵐

聽完鼓動中的寧靜意猶未盡，於是乎又買了一張優人神鼓的最新作品：入夜山嵐。今天傍晚才拿到的，但是到剛剛為止，我已經聽了三遍，六首曲目當中，我最喜歡的是第五首「夕陽獨行」。歌曲三分四十一秒開始到曲終是我最喜歡的部份，不同的鼓聲一一加入，鼓聲時而大、時而小、時而遠、時而近，再加上蕭、大提琴和胡琴的伴奏，彷彿真的就在山上看夕陽一樣。因為認同他們的理念，所以更容易進入他們要表達的意念。

鼓動中的寧靜

前幾天買了一片CD，叫做「優人20週年 鼓動中的寧靜」，英文名稱翻得更貼切，Thunderous Drums, Peaceful Mind。Thunderous震雷欲耳的 Drums鼓聲, Peaceful 寧靜的 Minds 心。好聽，很好聽。CD封底寫著這麼一句話：they drum thunderously, but under a state of mind that is peaceful and serene, in the pursuit of oneness with nature. 他們震雷欲耳地打鼓，但是內心是平靜和安詳的，追求與大自然合為一。這句話我非常喜歡、非常認同。中南美洲的音樂也充滿了鼓聲，熱鬧的鼓聲，偶爾聽聽寧靜的優人神鼓也不錯。誰說我很洋派呢？我是吃綜合口味的！

今年的5月20日對我來說是一個非常特別的日子。為什麼呢？頭一次在同一天為不同的人慶生。一個是阿美族的乾媽，另一個是遠從德國來的朋友Martina，這兩個人相差21歲。當天晚上補習班下課後，我隨即前往工作室，乾媽跟我分享她獲得敬業勞工的榮耀，和乾媽以及她的朋友們閒聊幾句，並祝生日快樂之後，便轉往氣功修煉中心為Martina獻上幾本中文學習書籍作為生日禮物。蛋糕我吃了三小塊，聊到將近半夜12點才離開。回到家靜靜回想這兩ㄊㄨㄚ慶生的過程，感觸良多。人生真是處處充滿驚奇。（能夠讓我在同一天為不同世界截然不同的兩個人慶生，我的心中充滿了感激。）
This year’s May 25 is especially special to me. Why is that? Because it’s my very first time to respectively/separately celebrate for two people whose birthdays is the same day. (Their birthday is both May 25.) One is my Amis godmother (she is my friend, but she is old enough to be my mother), and the other is a friend from Germany, Martina. They are 21 years apart. On that evening, right after I got off work from a bu-xi-ban/private learning institute, I headed to my godmother’s studio. She shared with me the glory and honor of her being awarded as the best industrious labor in Miao-Li County. Her friends, she and I chatted a little, and I said happy birthday to her. Afterwards, I went to the Qi Gong center to give her a couple of Chinese learning books as a birthday gift. I ate three pieces of the cake. We chatted until about 12 at midnight. And I left. When I got home, I quietly recalled the two birthday celebrations and had feelings. There are surprises everywhere in life. (I am so grateful that I can celebrate for two different people in two different worlds for their birthdays on the same day.)

你（妳）要去衣櫥翻一翻，拿些衣服、褲子、裙子去修改了嗎？別忘了跟美美說是育華介紹的喔！要在工作室多待一下，跟美美多聊幾句也可以，她會很高興的。工作室隔壁還有嘉峰乾洗（洗衣）店，可以順便洗個西裝、外套，或一些怕被洗衣機洗壞的衣服。
